AUSTIN – TEXPAC, the political advocacy arm of the Texas Medical Association (TMA), has announced its endorsement of Rep. Chris Paddie (R- Marshall), for reelection to Texas House of Representatives District 9.
“TEXPAC is pleased to endorse Representative Paddie for reelection to the Texas House so he can return to work for Texas patients and their physicians,” said TEXPAC Chair Robert Rogers, MD.
“Representative Paddie consistently supports legislation that will improve our physicians’ ability to practice medicine, and to appropriately care for patients without bureaucratic interference,” Dr. Rogers said.
“Representative Paddie also understands that insurance companies should not be denying medically appropriate care, and that they should pay physicians for the services they provide to patients,” he said. “For these reasons and more, TEXPAC is pleased to back him to continue his important work in the Texas House.”
