TEXPAC Endorses Rep. Lynn Stucky for the Texas House

February 20, 2018

AUSTIN – TEXPAC, the political advocacy arm of the Texas Medical Association (TMA), has endorsed Rep. Lynn Stucky (R-Denton), for reelection to Texas House of Representatives District 64.

“TEXPAC is pleased to endorse Representative Stucky for reelection so he can return to the House to work in support of Texas patients and their physicians,” said TEXPAC Chair Robert Rogers, MD.

“Our physicians appreciate Representative Stucky’s accessibility and responsiveness to physician visits whether in his home district or in Austin,” said Dr. Rogers.

“Representative Stucky consistently supports legislation that can improve physicians’ ability to practice medicine, and appropriately care for patients without bureaucratic interference,” Dr. Rogers said.

“He understands that insurance companies should not be denying medically appropriate care, and that they should pay physicians for the services they provide to patients,” he said. “It is for these reasons and more that TEXPAC is pleased to back him to continue his important service for our patients.”
