AUSTIN – TEXPAC, the political advocacy arm of the Texas Medical Association (TMA), has endorsed Rep. Diana Arévalo (D- San Antonio) for reelection to Texas House District 116.
“TEXPAC is pleased to endorse Representative Arévalo for reelection to Texas House District 116 so she can continue her work protecting Texas patients and their physicians,” said TEXPAC Chair Robert Rogers, MD.
“Representative Arévalo has worked to uphold Texas’ public health and prevention during her service on the House Public Health Committee,” said Dr. Rogers.
“She also is a strong voice in support of Medicaid and mental health funding,” added Dr. Rogers. “And Representative Arévalo understands population health issues and the policies needed to protect the people of Texas.
“For these reasons and more, TEXPAC is pleased to back Representative Arévalo to continue her important service for our patients.”
