What are you thankful for? TEXPAC is thankful for all of our amazing members! As the leaves change and the weather cools down, TEXPAC is heading into another stuffed election season. TEXPAC has a cornucopia of opportunities for you to be involved at the local level. This fall, contact your legislators, meet new candidates, volunteer on campaigns- all while advocating for medicine. Remember, 100% of your TEXPAC contributions go to help elect the candidates who will support medicine's vast agenda. Renew, upgrade or join online  or give us a call to pay over the phone.

Your TEXPAC and Texas Medical Association (TMA) dues are separate. TMA does not contribute to or endorse political campaigns.

A Message from our Chair

"TEXPAC serves the physicians of Texas by helping elect medicine-friendly candidates at the statewide and local levels. We rely on our grassroots efforts and the local relationships between our members and their elected officials to help advocate on behalf of the party of medicine. In politics, you're either at the table or on the menu, and TEXPAC ensures Texas physicians are at the table to protect the practice of medicine and  enable us to do what we have been trained to do - care of our patients."

Jimmy Widmer, MD
Internal Medicine - Temple

TEXPAC has a strong tradition of enormous success in staving off attacks on tort reform, increasing Medicaid payments, and stopping scope of practice incursions.
