AUSTIN — TEXPAC, the political advocacy arm of the Texas Medical Association (TMA), has endorsed Rep. Rene Oliveira (D-Brownsville), for reelection to Texas House of Representatives District 37.
“TEXPAC is pleased to endorse Representative Oliveira for reelection to Texas House District 37 because he supports legislation that will improve our physicians’ ability to practice medicine, and to appropriately care for patients without bureaucratic interference,” said TEXPAC Chair Robert Rogers, MD. “He also understands government’s role to support a health care system that benefits everyone and where physicians are leaders in providing medical care to patients.”
